Ping pong. Plug-a-jug. Stratego. Monopoly. Bat Out of Hell. These are memories from Sheldon's basement. Okay, some of those things were done upstairs, but not ping pong, and not Bat Our of Hell. I don't think Violet and Meatloaf would have been a good mix. (Although I'm sure Violet could make a decent meatloaf if she tried.) Of course, she did think Quiet Riot had a song called "Love's a Fish," so Meatloaf might not have bothered her so much.
ReplyDeleteAs I recall, I think the album was Kendall's, and the only two songs I remember hearing with any frequency were "Two Out of Three Ain't Bad," and "Paradise by the Dashboard Light." Sheldon thought it was pretty funny. (Probably because it is.)
And, to this day, every time I see a box of Cracker Jacks I sincerely wish that there would be a coup de ville somewhere in there. Is that too much to ask?
